Naomi's Story
Left Hawaii after sophomore year, moved to Killeen, Texas for junior year and graduated in San Antonio. Started college at UT Austin where I worked at the student radio station and various record stores and slept through most of my classes. Did some promotion and booking and managed a great band, Balloonatic. Put out a couple of singles on my own label, Fluffer. Moved to Olympia, WA to finish my degree at Evergreen in '94 and ended up in Seattle for a few years...Expand for more
after that. Worked at more record stores, a bakery, and a web developer. Put out another single, wrote for music mags, saw a lot of garage bands. Moved to Memphis in '98 to get another degree. Met Bob. Ended up in Wichita en route to an internship in Minneapolis that fell through. My parents live here and we stayed. It's cheap so I can stay at home with the kids, born in 2004 and 2007. I miss the ocean, mountains and live music but otherwise, it's not so bad¿
