Narlene's Story
I have led a very interesting life since my graduation from Broadmoor High. I have lived in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Miami, FL, Houston, TX, and currently reside in Santa Barbara, CA. I have had numerous career opportunities; my first working years was as an administrative assistant, including personal assistant to District Attorney Ossie Brown, then a flight attendant and airline public relations rep, blackjack dealer in Las Vegas, first woman Oldsmobile hired in the S.E. riter Chapter, a vocalist on cruise lines, piano bar vocalist and club owner, and currently owner of an employment recruiting firm for the past twenty-nine years, as well as actively working in the life and health industry. I am married to a wonderful man, a CPA/Tax Attorney, have one beautiful daughter and two beautiful stepdaughters, five fabulous grandchildren and one loving cat. I am very active in my church and still singing; leading the praise and worship team and soloist. I am also a Bible Study Leader. I write poetry and have been published in eight books, domestically and internationally. I consider myself very blessed.
