Natalie's Story
Life
Married Dave Dixon in 73. Had our son David in June of 73. We were stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson Az till 78. In 75 I had our daughter Amy. Then we went to Luke AFB Az. And I had my third daughter Rachelle in 79. And in 81 we had another daughter Kristina. In 81 we went to Eielson AFB Alaska. I was there till 84 thats when we got divorced. I went to Louisiana and lived there till Hurricane Katrina came. Now I'm living here in Wichita Falls Tx with my 16yr old son Matthew. My daughter Amy is stationed here at Sheppard AFB. She is following in her dads footsteps. I have been working with my company for 18yrs now so it was easy to transfer my job. I'm looking forward to retiring soon if all goes well. Now that I have been here in Texas for a year. I have ajusted well. I get to see my two granddaughters and my two grandson. When ever I want to and I also get to send them home when I want too. 'm going to be a Grandmother again. We shall have a new Grandchild in Oct 07. Well my son Matthew will be graduating in 08. It's hard to beleive that he is the last one at home. I will be having a new grandson in Oct. I just got back from New Orleans to visit my daughter Kristina. And also attended her baby shower. It's hard to beleive that after two yrs that they haven't done much to clean-up after the hurricane. I'm also coming up on the death on my oldest son David. It's hard to beleive that he has been gone for 6yrs now. Went back to New Orleans to see my new grandson he is handsome. Here it is 2008. And found out I'm going to have another grandchild in July. My middle daughter Rachelle. So thats going to give me 7 Grandchildern. I'm still to young to have that many. I did find my sons daughter. She is 14. And very pretty.Well as you can all see we had that new grandson on the 2nd of July. And my son Matthew graduated in June with honors. And will be attending Midwestern Sate University in the fall.
