Life (updated 2009) I got married my sophmore year in college, had a wonderful son in 1990 when I was junior in college, and divorced soon after graduating from Hood College. I met the love of my life in 1996, and remarried in 1997. My husband legally adopted our son, and we have been blessed with a daughter, who joined our family in 2003. We currently have a miniature toy poodle (we rescued) named Fluffy. And we have our bonus baby boy on the way, and he is due on March 9, 2009. We have lived in Kensington, MD for the past 12 years and love our diverse neighborhood! We are very active in our church community and spend alot of time as a family and with our friends. We are looking forward to our son's senior year of high school, and I'm gearing myself up to prepare for that fact he'll be going off to college next year. He's so busy now that we don't see him often (Eagle Scout, Church youth group leader, Lacrosse team, swim/dive team, school plays, etc.) but at the end of the day he's always home. That may not be the case soon.... 2009 update: Our son graduated in May 2008 with honors, and is in his second semester at BYU in Utah and loving it. I miss him terribly but he's having a good time. At least our daughter will be around to keep us busy. She loves her Montessori preschool, gymnastics and tap/ballet classes. She entertains our family with her imaginative stories, ideas, and performances..... 2009 update: She is supposed to be in preschool for another year but tested into Kindergarten early.
