Neal's Story
Graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1960, married Jean Pitts in August and became Youth Pastor at Broadway United Presbyterian Church in September. Auditioned for the Ted Mack Amateur Hour in fall of 1962. Taped the broadcast in Chicago, and as a result went to work as a producer/announcer for Moody Radio Network in Chicago. Our son, Sean, was born in 1964, and we moved to California in 1965, where I served for 7 years as youth pastor, 7 years as Associate Pastor, and 7 years as Senior Pastor of Redwood Chapel in Castr...Expand for more
o Valley. Our daughter was born in 1967. In 1986, we moved to Hercules, CA, where I served as Senior Pastor at NorthShore Community Church for 19 years. We came to Brentwood, CA in 2006, where I serve part time as Associate Pastor. Three of our grandchildren are a part of the church. We are very happy - healthy enough for our age. Enjoyed a trip to Bellingham for a reunion of the Broadway Presbyterian Church youth - now most in their 60's! It was good to see many of you at Jean's 50th graduation anniversary last year.
