Neal's Story
It's been a fun ride through the years. After retiring and moving away from the S. F. Bay Area to Northern Oregon
in February 2008, I'm curious about those who graduated from Woodside High School in the sixties.
I received a Master's Degree in Art, from SJSU in 1975. Never did become a famous artist like I thought, but
after getting involved in video and photography in college, I changed gears and began a new career as a
Forensic Specialist-Latent Print Examiner. I photographed, videotaped, processed crime scenes for evidence
and fingerprints. I found out after having to write tons of reports for court, that I really did remember a few things
from my English IV class, taught by Ms. Neese.
I met my wife while teaching golf back in the 70's and we've been married for 33 happy years. We have one daughter, one son and one amazing grand kid! She's 12, plays 4 sports and is a straight A student.

nd I still do some coaching. Currently I'm back into cycling for the scenery and to keep the heart pumping. Still have a passion for the 49er's even though they don't play like the great teams of the 80's & 90's. One October night years ago, I met Joe Montana when he brought his young kids to our house to trick-or-treat for Halloween. Joe Cool said we had the scariest house in the neighborhood and I reached out and shook his hand. Even though the current 49er's are a trial and a tribulation, my S.F. Giants are the 2010 World Series Champions. What an amazing story!
Northern Oregon weather is a bit different from the Bay Area. Adapting to the climate during the winter has been special! Lots of cold, gray days with lingering rain. Looking forward to new digital photo opportunities even without many sunny days. I had been shooting really still photos for a long time as a CSI, but now I can photograph people who actually move! I post on Facebook.
