Neal's Story
Ok... If anyone remembers, I was the relatively quiet guy who stood up at assemblies and sang at the top of my lungs. I was also the one who left Chagrin 6 weeks before graduation. That's another story.
Despite the appearance that I had a 'big crush' on Judy Martt, when I first worked for Kenley Players in Warren and Columbus in summer 1968, I came out as the gay man I am today. I'm sure that there were some perceptive fellow classmates who had strong suspicions. Wish I could say that I currently had a partner, but the best I can say is that I am reacquainting myself with the partner I had for 11 years who still lives in Dallas where I lived for 6 years.
I was an Equity Actor for 25 years and did many musicals, some commercials and a lot of auditioning. Only thing you may have seen was a Levis 501 jeans commercial in '73, '74. And ...Expand for more
since that commercial concentrated on all the actors from the waist down, I don't think anyone could have said, "Hey, isn't that Neal ?".
Since Chagrin I have lived in North Canton (where I graduated), Akron, New York City (short attempt at fame), Chicago, Virginia Beach, Dallas, Columbus and now inexplicably Parma ? I will likely not stay here much longer as I may have an opportunity in the South. I am now a Certified Genealogist and have worked in several libraries as such, have published a few pieces of my writing (thanks, Mr. Colvin for your faith in those abilities) and displayed a few of my paintings in a Dallas Art Gallery; currently trying to establish an LLC to umbrella my varied interests.

OK, Haven't headed for the South, but am planning to move to Avon, Ohio when all the signals are green.
