Neal's Story
I met and started dating Robin Close (DHS '74) in the spring of '73 (about a month after Allison Witt fell asleep on our first/only date to an America concert -- no wonder she didn't flinch when i put my arm around her).
Determined to avoid more first dates, I married Robin 3 years later (she was 19 y.o. and way out of my league). We finished college together, went to grad school together, moved...Expand for more
back to Lake Bluff and raised 4 kids (ages 27, 25 and 20/20 twins).
We're now enjoying being empty nesters (with visits to/from the older two (NY and GA) and the younger two still home holidays and summers). No in-laws or grandkids yet. Just lots of kids' dogs being brought home to our previously dog-free home.
