Ned's Story
Ned lives in Overgaard, Arizona. Ned's schools include Haverhill High School then attended and graduated from Lowell Tech, (now University of Massachusetts Lowell). Ned worked in several engineering and management positions at various companies usually in the Semiconductor industry. He retired when he was in his 70th year from Medtronic Tempe AZ .after 27 and 1/2 years of service there. Ned travels a lot with his partner of 27 years Sheri Appley. His biggest disappointments have been the loss of his youngest son at 16 years, and the failure.of his marriage. Other then that he has had a wonderful life overall with lots of adventures and travel. Both he and Sheri have travel much of the world and continue to do so hoping to visit a bit of Africa next spring (2018) to complete a list to have visited all of the major continents. o list but some of his favorites include 3 trips Rafting the Grand Canyon, all the Cruises all over the planet and land trip through China. We have been spending about 1/3rd of each year on Cruise Ships. Having moved to a rural area in the rim country of Arizona for his retirement years has been a very pleasant change of pace. .As long as health holds out, we will continue to travel, but probably slowing the pace a bit.
