Neil's Story
Life
Well; there is too much to write in this applet; but basically life has been good. I calmed down a bit after high school, went right to college/graduated with a 3.3 average and then right into my field. I live in Cranston right now, still hang out with most of my friends from high school and a few others, still party on weekends.. etc... My hobbies are going to the gym, camping/hiking, snowboarding, motorcycles, fishing, playing pool, dining out, bla, bla, bla!!
Guess my latest news is that I am saving for a house... sick of renting apartments.
College
I went to college at Johnson & Wales University right in Providence to get my Associates degree in Computer/Business Applications. I began working full time in my field and then finished my BS Degree...Expand for more
in Information Science at night. Guess I didn't get the "Full" college experience by leaving the state, but I figured I screwed around enough in High School and just wanted my degrees quick.
Currently I am getting ready to enroll at Bryant for my MSIS degree.
Workplace
When I first received my AS degree, I worked at Amica Mutual Insurance Company as an applications developer/tester. I stayed there for about 2-3 years and left. Now I am working at Lincoln Park doing IT related work in networking, computer repair, project management and other various related IT tasks...
I guess my work life has "progressed" so far. When I hit powerball I'll be more satisfied, but for now I can make ends meet and sock away enough $$$ to do the things I want and need to do.
