Neil's Story
After high school, I went to college for a year. I then went to the trooper academy in Montgomery. After graduation I got to guard Gov. Wallace (after he got shot) for a while. ional guard, becoming a flight medic. I got out of police work after 20 years, and toured the country driving a "big rig" for 3-4 years. I went back to school at age 49, and became an xray and cat scan technologist, which is where I am at now. I retired from the guard in 2003 after 30 years. I work 7 on, 7 off, which my wife says is semi-retirement.
