Neil's Story

After graduating I started working at Canadian Refractories Ltd .I was laid off in the big recession of 80-82. I took a millwright training course in Montreal for a year. Started working at IKO Industries in Hawkesbury making roofing shingles.Got tired of the dust and the smell of asphalt so I got my licence to drive semi trucks. ays you can't beat this job and some days I think I should have stayed on the farm. I got married to Wendy McAndrew in 1978 and have 3 kids. Daughter and 2 sons.Two are married and our youngest is looking.Four grandkids:2 boys and 2 girls. I've worked alot of different jobs and I've been called different names but the best job and best name is Grampa. I am on facebook if anyone cares to look.
