Nelda's Story
Life
Married twice - first time I met my husband at church. Was married 17 years then divorced.
I met my second husband at a party. We have been married for 17 1/2 years.
My Children
My daughter's name is Tara. She is married and has three boys (Joshua, Trey and Troy). My son's name is Jimmy (James) he is also married and has two girls Summer and Stormie)and one boy (Cole).

My Job
I work for the Federal Government, Indian Health Service. I am the secretary to the Nashville Area Executive Officer. I am also the Travel Mgmt. Specialist and Records Mgmt. Officer. I give presentations, training and technical assistance on the Travel Mgmt. Program and Records Mgmt. Program to Area Office staff, Tribal Members (26 different Federally recognized tribes). My job requires that I travel to other Indian Health Service Area Offices that are located across the U.S. My job is very interesting and it keeps me on my toes.
