Netty Chandler:  

Life My nickname in high school (and to this day) is "Netty." I was captain of the female drill team and probably better known for my sense of humor and ability to make friends easily. If you ever met me, you would never forget me! I am approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with bedroom brown eyes, full voluptuous lips, and a sparkling personality. I have been employed with the same federal agency since high school (i.e., 30 years). My occupation is in law enforcement. My hobbies and special interest include the following: #1 love -- football (Washington Redskins); boxing; auto racing; basketball, baseball, music, dancing, swimming, social-gatherings and working with children. I also enjoy the great outdoors (nature), art, and intense, dramatic, or scary movies, and most importantly historical facts and research. As a matter of choice, I have never been married nor do I have children. I do not smoke, drink, nor have I (and never will I) do drugs. I am very independent and invite anything that challenges my mind or increases my knowledge. My favorite channels include the history and discovery channels, news, Lifetime, A&E (i.e., Arts & Entertainment). I am intrigued by people who are worldly, knowledgeable, outgoing, honest, trustworthy, spiritual, and abreast of matters concerning African-Americans and society, overall. I respect a man who respects his mother, himself, and women. People interest me (such as young and old people, the homeless and successful people - not those born with a silver spoon in their mouths, but home-grown entrepreneurs). I try to surround myself with positive, ambitious, and self-motivated people. I am not a "religious" person, but rather a "spiritual" person.
