After graduating from college, I began working for Stouffer's Food Corporation. I spent a summer working in Solon, Ohio working in the management training program. Two weeks after getting married, the company moved us to Salt Lake City, where we lived for seven years, and had two boys. The company then moved us to the Bay Area in Northern Califronia, where we lived in Antioch for 10 years. I became involved in community activities, and reactivated my membership in the Boy Scouts, eventually taking over a Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, and even running the district as District Commissioner. I changed companies and worked with a number of old Stouffer's Foods friends, when we started the JB Williams Company. We bought the rights to Aqua Velva, Brylcreem, Lectric Shave and Cepacol for $12 million, eventually selling off the company in 2002 for $86 million (man I wish I was a bigger stakeholder).
