Nicholas's Story
Hello,
After graduating from Hicksville High School, I went to Farmingdale University to study food technology. Whilst studing a had a part time job being a chef at Chi-Chi's restaurant. I graduated with an associates degree in food technology in July 1987.
In August 1987, my family and I moved back to Britian. We lived with my grandad in a one bedded flat in east London. It is a bit of a squeeze. My parents and my sister moved down to Kent. My parents bought a house in Deal, Kent, which is near Dover, the southeast of Britian.
I stayed with my grandad and studied meat inspection which I graduated six monthes later. I worked at a ham factory making brines, it was a fun job but hard work.

his job especially because it had a pub (bar) on site. Friday nights where brilliant. Unfortunately the factory closed two years later because it didn't reach european criteria but did reach British standard.
I went to east London to work as a night quality controller. I hated this job and stuck it for two years. Then I went to another comapny to be a quality controller. I stayed for two years.
I moved down to Deal to live with my parents After six monthes of happily being unemployed, I found a job working a hospital caring for people with learning disabilities. I am now a manager running a house looking after people with learning disabilities.
I am now living in Eastry with a wonderful women named Linda. We met at Eastry hospital and have been together for 16 years.
