Brenda's Story
Life
I married my high school sweetheart at age 17 and spent the next 20 years commited to my family. I have a 23 year old son, a 20 year old daughter, and a 17 year old son that are absolutely my pride and joy. Unfortunatley, after 20 years, my husband decided that family life wasn't for him and he left us. A year later I met a very handsome man 8 years younger than me and we are now living together. Since I was mostly a stay at home mom working part time jobs while the hubby went to school, I was never able to obtain a career so now I work in retail. It's okay though, because this still leaves me time...Expand for more
for my family which is very important to me. My children are all still living with me, along with 3 dogs and 2 cats. We are all very happy and have learned to survive the hard way. I can't complain, because we are all relatively healthy and our faith is strong. My only regret is not keeping in touch with my old friends from school. I lost one of my 7 siblings recently and this has made me realize just how important family and friends are. I very seldomly run into anyone from Kempsville High, so I wonder where everyone went and what they are doing. I hope to get in touch with some of my old friends soon.
