Nick's Story
Life
Nick Hartman is a graduate of Victor Valley High School (1989) and the
University of La Verne (1994). After earning a B.A. in journalism, Hartman
worked for Southern California Edison's Research and Development department
as a technical writer. In the summer of 1995, Hartman accepted a position as
a business and education reporter for the Redlands Daily Facts. Along the way he also contributed to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin in Ontario, CA and freelanced for several magazines.

Cucamonga School District where he taught at Rancho Cucamonga Middle School and Los Amigos Elementary. After teaching at Park View Elementary in 1997-1998, Hartman returned to ULV to serve as an assistant coach for the NCAA Division III University of LaVerne's men's basketball team and pursue a
master's degree. During this time, he also rejoined SCE's Customer Service
department as a communications analyst. He returned to the Victor Elementary
School District in 2000.
Hartman lives in Apple Valley with his wife Sasha and son Liam.
