Nick's Story

Life I have been happily married for over 40 years to my great wife Billie Jo. We have two boys. Scot lives in Florida and owns an online internet business and Brock lives in New York and is an artist (paintings, pens and inks) and muscian (guitiars and keyboards). Billie Jo and I live in Bowling green Kentucky so we have to do a lot of traveling to see them. School I have no memory of high School. I don't think I was awake. I do know I hated high school. College Education : Degree in Computer Science. Indiana State University; Terre Haute, Indiana. Workplace Synopsis :Over Thirty-Seven years Information Systems experience planning, designing, and programming batch and on-line systems. Work includes designing, and programming systems in Inventory Management, Purchasing, Receiving and Shipping, Engineering Management Control, Production Control, Bill of Material, Parts Inventory, Material Control, Accounting, Order Entry, and Management Information. These projects were designed to integrate with current systems including the BPCS software. Instrumental in the conversion, redesign, modification and installation of software applications from the IBM 3033/COBOL to the AS400/RPG/BPCS. Designed plant wide Data Collection projects utilizing Bar Code and Radio Frequency technologies. Completed inventory and re-engineering projects in plant stores for the purpose of regaining control of inventory, including a total physical inventory and corporate audit. Software experience includes RPG 400/IV, BPCS, LOTUS NOTES, Windows, WORD, and LOTUS 123.
