Nick's Story
Until I was 50 years old, I always rented (never bought ¿ cars or homes), was an independent consultant (mostly ¿ rarely someone¿s employee), dated but never married, and lived / worked in many places:: New York City, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mountain View, Tampa, Melbourne (FL), St Louis, Boston, Cambridge, Reno, Las Vegas, and London.
But I always...Expand for more
considered the Northeast as ¿home¿.
Many said I would never commit to anything (for good reason). But 2005 was the ¿Year of Commitment¿: I dissolved my Consulting Proactive / Corporation, bought a car, left the Northeast and contracted to build a new home in Dallas where I had just joined an aerospace company as an employee ¿ and¿ married.
