Nick's Story

After graduating high school in June of 1987, I left for California in July of 1987 to see if I could make it through 12 weeks of grueling training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego otherwise known as MCRD. After graduating boot camp I was stationed in North Carolina and served with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 162 (HMM-162). We were a deployable unit and because of that, I had the opportunity to visit and see many interesting places throughout the world. I was honorably discharged fron the Marine Corps in July of 1991 and went back home with many great memories and experiences. In 1991 I started doing electrical work for a private contractor, doing custom and million dollar homes in Elmhurst and South Barr...Expand for more
