Life
I married my wonderful hisband (Jeb) in 1988 and we moved from western Kentucky to Virginia. I have 2 sons from my first marriage. Josh is 30 and is a bartender in Orlando. He's not married, no kids. Andy is 27 and is a service tech for commercial refrigeration here in Richmond. He is a single dad with full custody of my adorable granddaughter, Eleni (rhymes with Melanie). The mom has been totally out of the picture since May '03. We have no idea where she is, which is probably just as well, but still sad. Andy and Eleni live about 3 -4 miles from me. a place about 15 minutes from me in VA and one in Florida. They split their time between the two. They can't stand to be away from Eleni, but they don;t like the cold!
Workplace
I am the Payroll & Employee Services Manager for Apex Systems, Inc. We are an IT staffing firm based in Richmond with branches in 33 locations - and growing! I love this company! Since coming to Richmond in 1988, I have been a pre-school teacher, travel agent/manager, call center manager, and bank manager! I tend to lose interest after a few years! My husband has been with Dominion Power for 26 years, so we are quite different in our career paths!
