Nicky's Story
Life
Yes! Yes! I have pets. If I weren't married, I would be known as that crazy cat lady. I have a lot of cats. And a dog too, she's cute. No kids yet, apparently my body killed the first one it tried to have, but we're working on that. I've already got my diabolical plan to warp my children set up, now it's just waiting for an actual kid to be put into action. My family lives right across from Estero, if you know what my car looks like (same one that I had in high school, I love that beast) stop by and have a beer! Look us up! I've spent a lot of time travelling, we visited Machu Picchu, Nasca, Teotihuacan, and Chichen Itza, among other fascinating places, can't wait to add more pyramids to my climbing repetoire. Also, I'm really lazy still. I hope one day to buy a llama, there is no cooler animal. Also, if you're ever in Peru, don't try the chicha, no matter what they tell you. It's not worth it!! The coca tea, however, is a must do. I forget what it's called, but it's good stuff. And you can say you drank liquid cocaine. Email me people, I love talking about b...Expand for more
ack in the day! All day long! To anyone that will listen! Like my poor Spanish students, heh heh.... they have to sit there or risk an F. Har har!!
College
I went to Flagler College, which sucks. St. Augustine does, I mean. I totally missed out on the college experience because I lived in a town that went to bed at 6 pm. I did meet my husband, though, so I guess that's something. The classes were awesome, and unlike here at FSU (Where I go to graduate school) they were all in the same building so I didn't have to walk very far. The classes were all very personal. I graduated with two degrees, Elementary Education (yes, me, a teacher) and Spanish/Latin American studies. My current plans are to finish this semester out here at FSU (which surprisingly sucks more than Flagler) and then go get a job at an elementary school for a bit. Little kids rule! I am going to try to get my high school and Spanish certification this summer (shouldn't be hard; monkeys could pass those tests) and then teach at good old Estero! Nothing like "torturing" generations of teenagers, woohoo!
