Nicky's Story
Thanks for checking out my bio. Since graduating from high school in 1971, I attended the University of North Texas (then NTSU) and later Mississippi State University. I have lived in San Angelo, Austin, Wichita, KS, Seattle, WA, and now Atlanta, GA. After working at television stations in those cities, I began work as an on-camera meteorologist for The Weather Channel in 1999. You can watch me usually between 2 and 5 pm eastern time (1-4pm central)

I enjoy writing and performing music, and am the author of Sing Along with the Weather Dude, a book and CD of weather songs for children; and Don't Get Scared, Just Get Prepared, a CD of songs to help families prepare for severe weather in a fun way.
