Nicole's Story
Life
Ok, well most of u should know by now that i have a 7 year old son named Caleb...he is so gorgeous, smart and talented and healthy that i sometimes wonder why I got so lucky, but really...It's been a roller coaster so far, trying to balance my new life with my old ways, I love my friends, I love school, I love Caleb, and I'm excited to see what else is in store for me....I recently moved out of the bay, and am focused on the last quarters i have to finish to graduate from UCI and start working again....I've already worked full time running a small business, but that particular field was not me, i need to do something i love....
College
Well I'm finishing college right now, and am majoring in International Studies with a minor in Education, so I either want to go forward with a masters in media broadcasting/Journalism and do something like political correspondence, or I want to get my credentials and teach, it's a tossup....Right now I'm student teaching and helping out in Caleb's class 2 days a week, so I'm going with what feels right at the moment...I don't have any funny roommate stories, because i've been living with my parents my entire life, I'm a daddy's girl and it's hard to leave a m...Expand for more
an that takes care of your every need, but...I have hung out with my friends the entire time since high school, and so it pretty much seems like i've lived with them too. I played 2 years of ball at SMC and met some really great girls there that i do my best to keep in touch with, it's all about meeting new people and growing....
Workplace
Well i worked since i was 16 doing hostessing and retail, and then i got an awesome job when i finished at SMC and was waiting to transfer to UCI. I worked as an office manager for 2 1/2 years at a credit reporting website/broker, and ended up pretty much running the business, since the owners were young, and jackasses and never paid attention to the day to day, but i guess u can do that if u are willing to shell out the money to people like me...the job just got to be too much and i didn't feel that appreciated, except when we'd have the company parties and the boss would try to hook up, so i had to get out of there...now i'm working part time while i finish school at a foreign language tutoring center as a billing manager and personal assistant to the director. I'm going to try to get an internship for the summer at a network so we'll see how that goes...
