Life
Well what can I say. In the five, almost six years since I graduated I've seen a lot. I never finished my time at USAFA, but instead ended up enlisting in the Air Force. I must say I've met some of the most interesting people. Tech school was a blast and my first duty station, RAF Alconbury in England was a once in a lifetime experience. I've traveled and lived in Europe for about 3 years. Got married in January 2004 to Jamie, a fellow Air Force member. We moved to Utah to Hill AFB, in June 2005. We have two adorable miniature dachshunds and we are now expecting our first baby. Yes, that's right, I'm pregnant! The newest little Gatliff should be here in Dec 2006. and so far I really love it out here. We just bought our first house and it's so exciting! I haven't been back to Wisconsin in almost 3 years now and probably won't be going back anytime soon. I left for a reason and I'm not in a hurry to get back. There is so much out there to do and see. I'm currently going to school and pretty much planning on separting from the Air Force when my time is up. It was a good stepping stone, but I have bigger plans. I really don't have any regrets about where my life has taken me. Some of the greatest experiences in life come from taking a chance and just jumping in. And sometimes you just have to let go of everything familiar to really find out who you are.
