Nicole's Story
Life
After Highschool, I went to Pierce college in Woodland Hills, then I met My ex husband Billy who is still in the navy. We became pregnant in 1994 with a baby girl named Ashlee and moved to Bremerton Washington. We stayed there for about 3 years and moved back to So Cal. We live in Camarillo for another 3 years. It was awesome to be back home. Close to family and friends. I work for a chiropractor in the back office and eventually becoming his front office manager. In the meantime, my ex husband and I got a divorce and we moved to Medford, OR where my dad lived. After several months of being up there, I met the man of my dreams, handsome, funny, caring, He loved my little girl like she was his own. He did everything for her and with her. He is her dad. We then moved to Carson City, NV to be with my best friend and her family. We got married there and lived the last 3 years there. In Dec 2004, we welcomed our littlest princess Micha Faith. Her daddy named her and we spell it like his name without the EL on the end. Life was going well for us until the ufortunately day of Dec 16th,2005. My husband left for work that morning and we were excited about the follwing week, we just bought a brand new car, we were going to our first christmas party together. Our girls and I got ready for work,school,day...Expand for more
care that morning and on the way in we realized that there was an accident ahead and as we drove by we noticed the license plate, it match my husband's truck. I pulled over and asked the NDOT driver if the license plate said what it did and he said yes, I asked how my husband was, an officer came over and told me he was dead. We passed him lying on the side of the road, He died that morning not wearing a seat belt and he hit black ice from the freezing fog. The officers stated if he had worn his seat belt he would of lived. Our life changed that day. Thank God, I know he made it to heaven. He got to see most of our littlest princesses first year. He died 13 days before her first birthday and 9 days before christmas. He would spend time with Ashlee our oldest and attend field trips with her and play video games. He is gone but never forgotten. Our girls are now 12 and 2, Ashlee and Micha. Please don't take your family for granted because you never know when it will change forever. We moved back to OR to be closer to family. I do the billing/collecting for a group of doctors. I recently fell in love with a wonderful, awesome man who treats me so well and I love him and his two boys. So now we are a family of 6. We are getting married in May 09.Take care of yourselves.
