Nicole's Story
After graduating many moons ago.. I did a stint in the Air Force, this is where I met and married the love of my life. We have been married for 13 years, Aaron, is still in the Air Force and has had several tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Some of my friends say I'm adicted to college, as I have three degrees, and that I need a support group, you know, "hello, my name is Nicole and I'm an addict" but my theory is, as long as I keep going they can't collect on my loans! Well my dreaded loans have come due, DAMN the government! I have two wonderful children, Chris and Brad and a 7 year old "puppy". I have some really great friend who make me laugh all the time! t" the south eastern region, that is pretty cool. I also teach political science part time at a state University here in Georgia My familiy and I live in small town Georgia, where we are involved with the local activities and my husband coaches football and baseball and I am active in the booster club. I'm thinking about going back to school to get my PhD, but only to defer my loans... an to leave open the option of teaching if the HR thing gets old later.
I came to realize a long time ago that life is way too short so take it as it comes at you.. we don't have time for pettiness or petty people. Maybe the military helped with that, but its a good idea just to have fun and let the chips fall where they may and make the most of what life gives you.
