Nicole's Story
Life
Since leaving behind the hallowed halls of our beloved Austin.... Oops I lost my head for a moment there! Since last seeing many of you, I have had a successful kidney transplant ( almost a decade ago now). I was on dialysis for over a year, and was fortunate to find a match in my brother-in-law. (F.Y.I. Helping to develop in them a better understanding of chronically ill patients, and the need for a whole patient approach. Although I have no formal education after high school, I think it's safe to say I have learned more than some people do in a lifetime. If any of my old cohorts are reading this, please feel free to look me up next time you're in B.C. I'm in the book, and would LOVE to hear from you! (Well some of you anyway.. wink wink!)
