Life Weelllll...I still consider California "home", but I'm very happy in another great state ~ Texas! I live in Longview, which is about an hour and a half east of Dallas, and an hour west of Shreveport, Louisiana. My parents lived here also, but now they're dancing together in Heaven. I ended up doing what I said I'd never do...be a teacher! I've taught everything from severely handicapped children ages 3 - 21, to what I just retired from, which was teaching language arts in a 3rd grade classroom. I also drove a school bus for the last 7 years of my career, and I happily retired in May after 29+ years in education...that was enough! Now I'm trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up! ;-) I was married to the father of my daughters for 20 years, and went through a nasty divorce. I plan to write my memoirs someday and turn them into a multimillion dollar miniseries ...Danielle Steele has nothing on me! I have 3 beautiful daughters ~ Jessica, 27; Allyson, 25, and Vanessa, 21.
