Niki's Story
Life
Currently I reside just south of Indy - in Franklin. A neighbor lady (a sister in my chapter of the Red Hat Society) and I were down in Nashville, IN scouting a place to hold our May meeting when she took the picture of me petting the dogs. The additional picture of me - standing in front of the mountains - was taken on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Seeing all the "real" mountains, Old Faithful, the buffalo, etc., was such an enjoyable experience.

en't exactly my favorite season, but I did sorely miss the beautiful Indiana springs and falls, the changing colors of the leaves, and the cold and snow at Christmas!! 84 degrees on Christmas Day just didn't seem like Christmas to a Hoosier!!! Even though I've been back in Indiana since late 1996, my blood is still thin, as they say, so I tend to stay indoors quite a bit in the winter.
My only child - a son - lives about 20 minutes south of me, with his wife and two children. My only pet is a cat; Gabby is 14 years old and weighs 11 lbs.!!
