Nikki's Story
Life
I live in Modesto where I have been since I left Merced in 1980. I got married and divorced 2 years later. I am not married now although I have lived with my significant other for 13 years now. He is an almond and apple grower. I have 2 horses, 2 cats, 2 cockatiels and 1 dog. I do not have any children, my pets are my kids. I own a house in Modesto that I bought over 15 years ago that I rent to my friend and employee. I run the ranch office now which is a full time job, prior to that I worked for a construction company in Manteca for 10 years. I have done some traveling over the years. still lives in Alaska, and my 2 brothers and sister live in the Rocklin/Marysville area and my other brother lives in Sonora. I have 1 niece and 2 nephews that come to visit me at the ranch to ride horses and have fun in the outdoors. My father and his family still reside in Merced. I left Merced very abruptly due to my father and have not spoken to him since 1980. I truly do not think that anyone from Merced High School would remember me but just in case one person does life has been good to me. I have a wonderful man and I truly do not want for anything. I do have good memories of my high school days at Merced High School and I want to wish everyone the best.
