Nikki's Story
Life
In 1994 I graduated from OSU w/ a Business Mngmt degree and 2001 from the University of Rhode Island with a Master's in Marine Affairs. Over the years I've worked on a variety of commercial vessels around Puget Sound, Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico and elsewhere using my USCG license. my spare time I hike, climb, bike and kayak.
In Nov. '05 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I went through chemo/radiation from Feb through July '06. It was tough, but it helped me refocus on what is "really" important on a day-to-day basis.
In Sept 07 I got married. Life seems to be on the right track. I'm happy, feel great, and am thankful for every day.
