In 1980, I brought my freaky Northern wisdom to the San Fernando Valley in CA when my mom decided to bring the concept of the "coffee bar" to this region. I was a barrista before the term ever was. And I helped to start a bunch of coffee houses here in the Valley in the days before Starbucks took over all our corners. Wah.
I've come to love Los Angeles after living here so many years. I enjoy travelling up to Oregon and I am looking forward to a giant eco friendly bus in our future.".
