I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a okay, but not for me. As it turns out, they were right. The first semester into the nursing program, I realized I did not have the stomach for it. I still wanted to be able to somehow make a difference by helping others. RE: Having Children
The one thing I am suprised about is the fact I was never blessed with any children. Fortunately my husband had two sons from a previous marriage; and so since they are relatively close in age, their children (my step-grand kids) are pretty special to me. Of course all my friends are always happy to let me watch any of their children anytime.
