Nina's Story
In 2007 I moved from Concord, to Oakley, Just East of
Antioch, still in the East Bay. The weather is a lot warmer than San Bruno. Since I bought this House in November 2007 I have a lot of new things to do.. No more swimming pool like my last residence, but a lot of NEW yard work.. Challenging... I recently retired from my job as a Sr.Welfare Fraud Investigator for Contra Costa County. Have just celebrated 24 years with the County.. Sure does not seem like it has been that long. Where did the time go?? Lots of great memories.
I have two children Girls, all grown up. My youngest daughter got married in May 2006-I have been blessed with a new grandson, he is 8 1/2 years old now (2008) My daughter's husband has son that has joined this family like he was born in it.. both new additions -father and son-are a blessing.. I spend a lot of time traveling back and forth from Oakley to Livermore to visit them. My eldest daughter lives in Illinois... hard to vis...Expand for more
it very often but we sure do talk on the phone....I Try to enjoy each and every day with a smile on my face and a bounce in my step. Keep smilin' and movin' hehe Those of you that know me, know that I am not one to sit idol very long. hehehe...always been an active person.
Have enjoyed seeing everyone at the class re-unions. If you went to the All School re-union and didn't recognize me - all you have had to do is look for the nut in the gyn suit. Yep that was me...I am single..Thanks for reading my bio don't be shy send me an email I love hearing from everyone.....hope to see ya at our next re-union...
Have been reconnecting with old and dear friends..It is fun... Started Sewing again,, My winter projects will be indoors.. OH I still get out in the yard to check on stuff but my focus for the winter will be indoor chores..
Working a little part time job, at an all girls gym. NO MEN -- it gives me a bit of pocket change!!Can always use pocket change!
