Noemi's Story
Graduated from University of Texas at Pan American (Edinburg, TX) in 1977 majoring in Elementary Education. Started teaching elementary grades at Mercedes ISD for 14 years. rried life with my retired husband. Have plenty of time to devote to our local church in Mercedes and spend time with our grandson, Xander who is less than 1 year old.
I am also a choir director with our church and teach English to some 12 nuns working for Mercedes, Weslaco, and Brownsville parishes. It's nice to be retired. Lucky me!
