Nola's Story
My tale is amazing to me. I married in 1950, had a daughter,now in Istanbul,and a son,now in Pittsburgh. After retiring from teaching math we started traveling. I've been to 5 different continents and seen a great number of great places. I've ridden a camel in Egypt and passed by soldiers with uzis in a number of countries. been to the Caribbean, the Mediterrean, Black Sea, and the Themes. Right now I'm freezing in Florida. Didn't move here to be cold. Still sing in our church choir and try to golf 3 times a week. Had a hole-in-one in 1998 but can't seem to do it again. At this stage in my life I guess I should be thankful to be alive. Let me hear from you. In March of this year my husband passed away so I am getting used to being on my own after 59 and a half years. But life goes on.
