Nona's Story
Life
My Dad was in the Coast Guard so we moved quite a bit. I started high school in Cordova, Alaska. After that we moved to Edmonds, Washington. I graduated from high school in Aransas Pass, Texas in 1975. Attended two colleges and quit with only 44 hours, oh well. Got married in 1983, to someone in the Coast Guard. That figures huh! hristi, TX; then to Elizabeth City, NC; then Mobile, AL; back to Corpus Christi; then to Cape Cod, Massachusetts; then finally back here in Corpus Christi, TX. Guess that tells you where home is. My husband retired May 21, 2004 from the Coast Guard after 28 years. We'll stay here, I hope. I'm tired of moving! Tried to stay in touch with everyone from all the moves, but I've been pretty bad at it.
