Nora's Story
After AA I went to Andrews University, married Dave Herdman in 1975 then graduated in 1977. In 1978 we moved to St. Thomas, USVI and I taught Business Education for 3 years. Moved back to Michigan in 1981 and had Cathy. Dave didn't like it there so we moved to Dayton, Ohio so he could work for Kettering Hospital. Had a second daughter, Nicole in 1984 and I started working part-time. In 1992 we were divorced, however, I stayed in the area. ll-time as a Secretary at different offices and at the Medical Center. After 23 years of full-time jobs, I am now working part-time. It is now January, 2008 and we are still here in the Dayton area and now have 4 more grandkids and a boat on the Ohio River. Life is good and I am looking forward to another wonderful year. Planning on attending Alumni Weekend in June, 2008, for the 35th Anniversary of our graduation.
