Norma's Story
I have been married for 62 years. Have 3 children. Have lived in several states due to my husband's career as a meteorologist for the Federal Goverment. I worked for the Bureau of Mines in Alaska (was there when Alaska became the 49th State) and was the head of the Statistical Section. husband was in charge of the Weather Station there. Upon his retirment we moved the Cape irardeau, MO. I went to work for a Rickard Const. Co. as Office Manager. We lived there for 31 years and because of some health problems we moved to Commerce, TX to be near our son and his wife. We are settled happilly in a very nice apartment complex where everything is taken care of. So just relaxing and enjoying our golden years.
