Norma's Story
Life
My children, grandchildren & great grandson keep me very, very busy & happy.:
I am blessed with an amazing daughter & her fantastic husband. My daughter blessed me with a grandson in 1997 & granddaughter in 2002.
I am also blessed with a fantastic son & his wonderful wife, they blessed me with an amazing grandson in 2007.
I am so very proud of each one of them.
I live alone, but I'm not lonely, I am busy, busy, busy. My 2 children and their families live within 6 blocks of me. I love the town where we live.
In 1985 I lost my oldest son, Dennis Archie Page, at the age of 19. He was a paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg. He died as the result of a motorcycle accident, a car turned in front of him on his way to Myrtle Beach.
In 1986 I lost my husband (Archie) Dennis P...Expand for more
age (North High '63), at the age of 41. He was killed while on a ski trip to Canada, his rental car was hit by a drunk driver.
I love and miss them more than words can say. They are buried side-by-side at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Bakersfield.
I still have several brothers and sisters in Bakersfield. I also have a sister in San Juan Capistrano.
2019 - I have been retired for 11 years now. My oldest grandson & his wife blessed me with a great grandson in Aug of 2018. My life is full of love because of my family ❤️
2023 - My oldest grandson & his wife are now expecting their first daughter ♥️♥️, my very first great-granddaughter 😍 She is due in April of 2023. A couple of weeks after she’s born I’ll be going down to stay with them for 10 days 🥰. I can hardly wait.😊
