Norma's Story
Married, divorced, two great kids. Got my BA from Univ. of MD; my MA from Cal State Long Beach. Lived in CA, MD, MA, and NY. Have worked in the Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Publishing fields: Northrop Aircraft, The Washington Post, National Association of Credit Management, The University of Massachusetts and am currently VP of Communications & Marketing for the Association of Graduates at West Point Military Academy in central New York. It is an amazing place to live and work. Not to mention that the Hudson Valley is a hotbed of UFO activity. It doesn't get better than that.
Have exhibited art for decades, wherever I've lived... mostly ...Expand for more
paintings.Did some freelance work on educational films and for greeting card companies; represented by several galleries on the west coast when I lived out there. Have always ended up living in artsty communities, and most of my friends are involved in the arts somehow.
i feel like I've lived 9 lifetimes, at least, since high school. Seems like another me entirely, back then. But one thing has not changed: I believe in living every single minute to the fullest and kind of like living on the edge, whatever that may be at any particular time. Have been and always will be a risk taker. Always looking for the next adventure.
