Life
Hi. I wonder who will look for me!
I've been married for 42½ years and have 2 grown sons - Richard (12/67) and David (6/71) - both married - and one adorable grandson, born 12/04.
I work in Computer Support at a Community College. We lived in Buffalo, NY, New York City, San Juan, and Syracuse, NY before moving to Shelby, NC in 1970. In 1990 we moved east, 100 miles from everywhere, to Laurinburg, NC.
Immediately after Bartram graduation I went to Waynesburg College in western PA. I met my husband there, we moved to Buffalo, and I went to the U. of Buffalo. He was transferred to NY and I went to Queens College, pa...Expand for more
rt of the City U of NY, and finally graduated. In the 80's I went back to college, changed fields, and got a degree in Computer Science.
I was in Girl Scouts all through school, and became a GS leader and eventually was President of the GS council.
I work, garden, watch TV, and am trying to finish a cross-stitch Christmas stocking for my grandson before he graduates from high school!
I still keep in regular contact with some Bartram graduates with whom I also knew as neighbors, church friends, and Girl Scouts. We are so fortunate to have these long term relationships; we find few people do.
