Life After high school, I began to work at the base P.X. It served as a bridge from high school days to the adult world. I met the love my life working there. He was in the Navy, and he took my heart by storm! We spent a whole year just liking each other..I never dated in school. So, it was just the right speed for me. Eventually, we did take the friendship further and we became first-time parents in 1982. We had a beautiful daughter...who still is the light of our lives. Sometimes life throughs curve balls at us, and the day came when we had to part company. I had no regrets, and I didn't have time for tears..parenthood doesn't stop because it's just not how you had planned. I thought of him all the time. She has his eyes..so, it was like seeing him everytime I looked into them. I eventually moved on, but he always held my heart. I left Oceanside and moved to Honolulu for quite some time. Then, from there I relocated to Vegas..where I've lived and worked for the past 17 years. It has been said that all work and no play...Expand for more
