Norma's Story
I married a year after high school and have 2 daughters. One lives in Washington state and the other on the Florida panhandle. After 18 years, we divorced. For 25 years I lived in Washington. I was a secretary all my married life, but a few years after the divorce I obtained my B.A. from Washington State University and went on to University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, for my library science masters. he edge of the Chicago metropolitan area) but live 50 miles away in Rockford and commute 100 miles each day. I've lived in the northern part of the U.S. for 34 years but do miss the milder southern climate. I also miss being near either daughter. But, I believe that home is where you live and I make an effort to be a part of my community. I'm an officer in our local quilting guild and help with speccial projects through the guild.
