Norman's Story

Life Hey to my old friends from the great 95th class. After graduation (Spring 1964) I floundered a bit; worked as a shipping clerk, then started Temple U. in Sept. That didn't work; I wasn't mature enough for college. So, I went back to floundering until I got drafted in Oct '64. Overall, no real complaints. I went into the Army. Some of the experience sucked. Some of it was great. I began to grow-up. I became an officer, and left the service after nearly five years. In case your wondering, did he go to 'Nam?; no. After I got out of the Army, I went back to Temple U. Once again, it didn't work for me. So, I began to flounder again (I might have fish genes!). The floundering didn't last for long. I was hired into a sequence of good jobs, mostly ...Expand for more
in sales and management. Then in Aug. of '74, I started college at Phila. Textile; completed in three years (degree in Accounting). I went to work for a national CPA firm, but stayed there for only two years. I left that firm because I needed something that CPA work didn't fulfill within me. I wanted to try college teaching. LaSalle College gave me my first position. I also have taught at Temple, and Widener. Then in '95 I was hired at Kutztown Univ. and have been there since. I have remained single but have a special person in my life. I live in Kutztown, PA. I have remained within the range of being partially crazy/goofy with just a touch of passion, and love of the arts. Life isn't great, but it is pretty good. I hope all is well with you! Norm
