Novella's Story
I attended Mullens Elem School prior to attending Brawley 1959 through 1963. Enrolled at Elizabeth City State Unv.
Graduated 1967 (Dec.) Taught first graders Feb. 1968 to June 1968 as the previous teach went on maturnity leave. parents move to VA while in my Junior year of college. Sept. 1968 I sign a teaching contract with Dinwiddie County, VA school system where I taught second graders in two different schools for 4 years. Met my husband while visiting Hampton VA

We love to travel and have been on several cruises, vacationed in Alaska, Hawaii as well as most of the states in the USA including Israel.
Retire 2003 (Jan.) Spends most of my time during ministry in the church, supporting missions at home and abroad, traveling, mentoring and attending to needs of family, friends and neighbors. (Prov. 3:5,6)
Love to host fellowships etc., reading through the Bible in one year, attending church and weekly Bible study, cooking and trying new recipes.
I am writing my first book, have compiled an extensive collection of poetry and am a published poet since 2004.
