Olevia's Story
We were known as the "Three Musketeers" amongst the Filipino Club members - Me, Ed Ferrer and Jacob Arce; as officers of the club we hung out frequently and during tennis practice. I was a transplant from Lowell High - did so due to conflicting school/work schedule. Adopted sister's friends as my own after she graduated a year ahead. Although, I missed out on a lot of school events because I also left the school early.
My high school highlight would be showing up during Class of 1982 graduation ceremony and tripped the homeroom teacher because I was not expected to participate. It is very doubtful anyone would remember that! Nonetheless, my time at ALHS was filled with fun and memorable events, albeit short.

e fundraising car washes, club and school events, playing softball against other clubs, or hanging out at someone's house after school. GOOD TIMES!!!
Connected and got together with some of the "gang" members a few years back, unfortunately, it was not repeated as discussed: Noel, Chris, Nick, Jose, Chato, Eden - what's up?
Fast forward to present: on my 2nd marriage of 10+ years now; 4 boys from previous and he has 3 from his, equals 7 kids to raise, luckily all are now grown 'cept for the youngest and last in high school. Graduated from UOP with Bachelor's of Science in Business; yes, did that whole bit of working full time, while a Mom and a student at the same time. Very rewarding! Looking forward to continuing to the Master's program, but I am also actively getting certifications for Safety Professional.
