Olivia's Story
Hi all,
I'm still working at the hospital in Crown Point. One more year to go! It went by really fast but I have 41 years in as a Lab Tech. My husband, Ron, (Calumet H.S.) and I have been married 39 yrs. We met at the wedding of Bernadette Farag (class of 1964) to her husband Bob Terry. My husband was a widower with 3 children. 8. 9. and 10 yrs. old. They all have families of their own, and are now 48, 49, and 50! We also have one son, Steve, 33, who lives in Salt Lake City with his family. My husband retired from Midwest Steel after 37 yrs. there...Expand for more
; and loves fishing off our pier in the summer. We have a pontoon that we enjoy too. We're active in our homeowner's assn. and the garden club which keeps the entrances looking nice.
When we lived in Merrillville (for 30 years) Our neighbors were Gene and Jacki Guernsey, Mark Daugherty, and Sharon Zagrovich on the next block. I was in a bunco club with Anita Borrego ('64) at one time. And Barbara Jones ('62) at a later date. We still ski and will be going to Utah in April to ski with our 6 yr. old granddaughter!
We live in south Plymouth, Indiana.
